Lovely Georgia, who several months ago came to the shelter with her housemate Charlotte, is living in foster with one of our volunteers, and she is doing GREAT! Georgia had a chronic eye and ear infection that was not healing properly in the shelter. One of our kind volunteers took her home a couple of weeks ago and WOW, what a difference a warm bed, restricted healthy diet and loving humans can make for a dog! Georgia has lost 10lbs, she still requires some maintenance medication, but her ears no longer bother her and she has no sign of the eye infection that plagued her for so many months in the shelter! We are so so happy that one of our favorite girls is doing so well. Georgia is very happy in foster with her two dog friends-- a pittie named Buttercup and a shepherd mix named Bart-- but she really does need a home of her very own. Interested in meeting this wonderful girl? Come meet her, she'll steal your heart!
