UPDATE: Gracie is in her Forever Home!! Beautiful Gracie Mae needs a new home! Her mom writes:
"Her name is Gracie, and I rescued her from her 4th night on the euthanasia list in NYC. She is a pitbull mix. She is currently 14 months old and her birthday is Feb 18, 2011. I have been living with her at my parents house for over 6 weeks now desperately trying to find her her furever home without any luck. I have networked her on facebook, word of mouth, my vet, friends, family, etc. Many say they have the perfect pet, but she truly is. I wish I could keep her for my very own, but two of my three dogs don't want any additional company. She does like other dogs and loves to run with them. She has not been exposed to cats.
Gracie is up to date on her shots, spayed, microchipped, and housebroken. She knows paw, sit, down, and are working on stay. Gracie seems to recognize when you say "leash, have to go out, and treat." She walks beautifully on a leash. She has energy, but LOVES to sleep at night. She will often put herself to bed (your bed). Gracie also likes to go for rides in the car. She lives with adults only . She LOVES her kong super bouncy ball, rope toys and her Nyla Bones. She does not chew on things she is not suppose to.
Gracie is extremely loving, and will kiss you all day if you let her. She is sweet, loyal and devoted. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a family member. I also have her on monthly Sentinel tabs and Pet Armor (Generic Frontline).
I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org and put "Gracie Mae" in the subject line. My cell number is (732) 261-3861 and my name is Andra."
