Pet First Aid Class to Benefit Sammy's Hope

Learn basic pet first aid, pet cpr, and emergency preparedness for your animals! LOCATION: Edison Township Municipal Complex, 100 Municipal Boulevard, Edison, NJ. DATE: Tuesday, August 13th TIME:  6:00PM -9:30PM COST: $59.00 per person (16 years of age and older)  Class tuition will be donated to Sammy’s Hope and the Edison Animal Shelter

The course, which will teach you the basics on how to protect your pets, how to respond when your pet is ill, how to perform CPR on your pets, how to prepare for emergencies, best practices, and much more, is certified by the Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI).  It is designed for anyone wishing to understand the basics of caring for your pet, no experience is required.

The topics covered are Pet First Aid, Animal CPR, General Pet Care, Preparing for and Reacting to Pet Emergencies, Animal Behavior, Hands on Practicals, “Best Practice” tips ; and, Planning and Preparing for disasters.

Instructors are an experienced New Jersey Certified Animal Control Officer & Animal Rescuer who is a NJ Police Training Commission certified instructor and his Golden Retriever Therapy dog.

All participants will receive a Pet First Aid book and a Pet First Aid Certification Card
