[Update 4 on Jolene, October 1, 2016] Jojo... She found her forever family! We are so excited for this sweet girl and her new forever family. She was able to celebrate her first birthday being spoiled in her own home. Thank you again for all who have given love and donations to help make Jolene's quality of life a good one. She is on the road to recovery and a beautiful future!
[Jolene Update 3: September, 1, 2016] Jolene continues to recover from her surgery and is learning to walk like a "normal" puppy. She had her last follow-up visit with Dr. Davis at Red Bank and he said she is "healing nicely." Her right front paw is still a bit weak and needs strengthening, so JoJo will be getting lots of walks to help make that happen. Jolene will be at the Shelter for about a week beginning this Saturday, September 3, reconnecting with her volunteer fans and getting lots of field trips and playtime. If you are interested in meeting our special girl and possibly making her part of your family, be sure to stop by Sammy's Hope during adoption hours, weekdays from 4:30 - 7 pm and weekends from 11 am - 4 pm.
[Jolene Update 2: August 22, 2016] Jolene went to foster with a Sammy's Hope volunteer the and received rest and pain medication. During an Aug. 5 follow-up with her surgeon, Jolene's cast was removed. She is walking, learning all about potty training and getting lots of love and attention! Here is a link to a article from mycentraljersey.com about Jolene's progress!
[Jolene Update 1: July 30, 2016] Jolene's surgery was a success! She is recuperating and being spoiled by one of our Sammy's Hope volunteers for the next 6 to 8 weeks. Thank You for your continued support of our sweet girl. We will post updates so you can see her progress!
