New Volunteer Orientation

  • Sammy's Hope Animal Welfare & Adoption Center 989 Main Street Sayreville, New Jersey USA (map)

Our new shelter space is open, and we need your help!  Sammy’s Hope will be holding volunteer trainings throughout the year on Tuesday and Saturday evenings.  The orientation will run 1.5 hours.  We are offering it as often as needed to make sure we have enough volunteers to help run the shelter.  Your participation is critical, so please sign up for an orientation date if you haven't already!

No previous experience required.  Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, capable of meeting the physical demands of working in a kennel environment, and willing to commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week to help the animals. Please Note:  Pre-Registration is Required for all Orientation Classes, as space is limited!

If you are interested in this exciting opportunity to train and work with animals, please contact us at and indicate your preferred training date

Reminder:  Be sure to pre-register to ensure your access to your desired orientation at
