Adoptions: Buttercup

UPDATE: Adopted! Buttercup has found her Forever Home. Buttercup is a cute, part pit female (maybe part Hound), about 1+ yr old. She is playful, submissive and has lots of puppy energy; she's really sweet, affectionate. She was found as a stray and had an open cut on her head, which has since scarred. It might have been an accident or the result of abuse, as she was very skittish and cowered in her cage for the first few weeks. She is presently in a foster home and learning to trust. She is learning her commands and knows "sit," "down," "stay," and "come," (not that she follows them ALL the time), but she's learning. She is friendly with people and dogs (is going to doggie day care) and non-reactive to cats, but she might be best in a home with no young children. She is also learning to walk on leash and making a lot of progress on her house training. She is spayed and up to date on her shots; she also tested negative for heartworm. She is submissive and gets along well with other dogs. She will benefit from a loving home who can continue to give her some TLC, let her curl up next to someone on the couch, and continue her training.
